He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mason and Jane Mason (Coulter); his brother George Mason; his parents-in-law, Donald and Millie Berry; and his sister-in-law Donna Berry Dreher.
He is survived by: his close friend Linda; his daughter Ashley (Tim); his grandchildren, Ava and Cate; his son Ryan; his sister Marie Robertson (Dave); his brother-in-law Steven Berry (Gina); his nieces and nephews, Derek Robertson, Will Mason (Christine), Steven Berry, Janel Widen (Dave), Dana Burkhart, Nichole Berry (Ty), Megan Rehak (Craig) and Marissa Waldier (Todd Joseph); and his pet Bentley III.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (2350 Pride Ave, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Family Service Agency.
