He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles E. and Mary Weaver (Hess); and his brother Charles Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Laura Weaver Hughes (Christopher) and Michael James Weaver; his grandchildren, Ray and Sylvia Hughes; and his siblings, Catherine Collier (Forrest) and Joseph Weaver (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
