She was predeceased by: her parents, William Melson and Virginia Melson; her husband Troy Ballew; and her daughter Margaret McDowell. She is survived by: her children, Jack McDowell, Janet McDowell, Marcia Schmuggerow, Brenda Galauner (Bruce) and Libby Coyne (Skip); her stepchildren, Troy Ballew and Tracy Marek (Steve); and her siblings, Gene, Bruce Melson, Trina Dougherty and Billie Lopez (Dave). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
