She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Fiedler and Anna Fiedler (Rippberger). She is survived by: her husband Arnold; her sons, Thomas (Susan) and James (Heidi); and her grandchildren, Andrew, David, Joshua Lauber, Chelsea and Michael Niles.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Paul's United Church of Christ in Elgin or to Anderson Humane in South Elgin, IL.
