We bid farewell to Georgia A. Olsen of Saint Charles, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Georgia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Ed" L. Berg and Josephine "Josie" J. Berg (Henigan); her brothers, William "Ted" Berg and Thomas "Tom" Berg; her husband Ray; her sister-in-law Carol Olsen; her nephew Andrew "Andy" Olsen; and her brother-in-law Jim Packee.
She is survived by: her children, Roxane Benvenuti (Michael "Mike") of St. Charles, IL and Ronald "Ron" Olsen of Random Lake, WI; her grandchildren, Brendan, Devin Benvenuti and Alexia Olsen; and her sister Jackie Packee of Vernon Hills, IL. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Roman Catholic Church (322 Waterman St, Sycamore, IL 60178).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made for Georgia Olsen in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178 to help support the National Kidney Foundation and American Lung Association.
