She was predeceased by: her husband Serafin "Fredo" Merced; her brother Edward; and her siblings-in-law, Loja, Amelia and Ray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie (Martin) of St. Charles, IL and Nellie; her sisters, Delores, Patricia and Theresa; her siblings-in-law, Carmen, Margot, Mary, Angie, Lisa and Julio; her nephews, Jorge and Jose; her stepchildren, Maria, Barbara and Freddy; her grandchildren, Cerissa, Rebecca (Fred), Jennifer (Larry), Robert and Emily (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Kieran, Zeph, Olivia, Violet, Nolan, Cayden, Braden and Gaven.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Yurs Funeral Home (405 E Main St, St Charles, IL 60174). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM, at 1:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
In honor of Elizabeth's love for bingo, her daughter, Julie, will be making a donation to The Grove of St. Charles' bingo program, so all of Elizabeth's friends can continue to enjoy the game she so loved.
