He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elvin Melton and Bertha Melton; his children, Gregg, Brian (Terri), Becca Wickman (Chris) and Kelly Arnold (Kyle); his grandchildren, Katelynn Melton, Thomas Melton, Will Melton, Stryder Wickman, Owen Wickman, Beckham Arnold and Wells Arnold; and his brothers, Ernie (Eva), David (Heidi) and Robert. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
