He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hughes and Eleanore Hughes; his wife Mary Catherine; his sons, David C. Hughes (Aimee) and Mark P. Hughes; his sister-in-law Merrie; his niece Krista Trespalacios; his nephew John Edward Hughes III (Jennifer); and his brother John Edward Hughes II. He was also cherished by husband and proud father, and his two sons.
