He was predeceased by: his parents, Theophil and Mary Baert, Sr. (Pollentier); and his siblings, Louise VanBogart, Robert, Joseph and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Carol (Norrstrom); his children, Mary Morrissette of Yorkville, Mark (Keri Lynn) of California and Bonnie Baert of Mahomet; his grandchildren, Rachel Finn (Joseph), Joshua, Kaitlyn Rose Baert, D. J. and Miranda Hogan; his great grandchildren, Joseph Schiavo, Riley, Brianna and Caleb Finn; his brother Phil of St. Charles; his niece Diane Cushing (Mark) of Seattle; his nephew Jeffrey McAllister (Lisa) of Texas; and also, Christopher, Greg and Megan McAllister. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
