She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Rose (Tekampe) and Raymond Meyer; her significant other John Cudahy (Jack); her children, Lance and Robin Dever (James); her brother Richard Meyer (Doc); her stepson Bill; and her grandson Daniel Bedini.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Meyer, Paul Meyer (Nancy), Elma Jarrett (Merton), Evelyn, Helen Dorfler (Donald), Florence McElhose (Roger), John Meyer, Clarence Meyer (Clem) and Robert Meyer; her grandchildren, Corey Simpson (Cary Anne), Brendan Bedini (Erika), Brian Bedini, Brad Bedini (Dusty), Lynette Johnson (Tim), Jennifer Gray (Scott), Lisa Bedini and Doug Bedini; her stepson Jack Cudahy Jr.; and her stepgrandchildren, Brian Kilgo-Kelly and Olivia Samms. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be provided to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
