It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Wolfer of Saint Anne, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, August Wolfer and Lucille Wolfer; his wife Geraldine E. Wolfer; his daughters, Gerri Klein (Kevin), Robin Pioppo (Kevin), Shannon Robinson (Kim), Cheryl Boltz and Denise Wolfer; his grandchildren, Christie Wolfer, Christopher Walrath, Kelly Gosnell, Kelsey Klein, Kevin Klein, Jamie Schultz, Sam Pioppo and Jose Gamboa; and his great grandchildren, Gianna Montoya, Alejos Gonzalez and Delilah Gonzalez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.

I am truly heartbroken that I did not get the chance to see him before he passed. I regret not being apart of his life for the past 13 years and not being there to help take care of him.
