He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Fruendt and Martha Fruendt (Knigge); his wife Kathleen Fruendt; and his sister Marilyn Kuhlman. He is survived by: his children, Jim Fruendt (Suzanne) of Beaverville, Joel Fruendt (Suzanne) of Bonita Springs, FL, Jay Fruendt (Dana) of Bourbonnais and Julie Fruendt of St. Anne; his grandchildren, Nick Fruendt (Ariel), Sara Mihm (James), Liza Fruendt and Adam Wojnowski (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Owen Fruendt, Mia Fruendt, Hanna Wojnowski and Hailey Wojnowski.

Memorials may be made to the First Reformed Church of Wichert or St. Anne Future Farmers of America.
