He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wilfinger and Hattie Wilfinger (Giesen); his sister Gail Sparkman; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Aeschlimann and Michael O'Neill.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wilfinger of St. Anne; his sisters, Joanne Aeschlimann and Rose Marie Wilfinger; and his siblings-in-law, Therese O'Neill and Terry O'Neill (Harriet). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
