He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Vermett and Grace Vermett; and his brothers, Larry and Steve Vermett. He is survived by: his wife Diane Elaine Flanders; his daughter Kimberly Crull (Kyle); his grandchildren, Evan of Capron and Ella Crull of Capron; his siblings, Ann Johnson (Stephen), Patricia Wallace (Tom) and Randy Vermett (Sue) of Capron; and his parents-in-law, Linda Vermett, Lynn Vermett of Chemung, Gary Flanders (Vicki) of Rockford, Janet, Denny Ellingson, Dawn, David McIntyre of Poplar Grove, Dan and Joan Smaha of Capron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the Capron Lions Club and Saint Anne Place.
