She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Hazel Crew (Jenkins); her husband Gilbert L. Bridgeforth; and her sons, Bill and Thomas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Cosby of Rutland, Joan Peek of Wenona and Amy Park of Wenona. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
