It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Arndt of Rutland, Illinois, born in Roanoke, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sr. Thommen and Victorine Thommen (Hennebelle); her children, Billy Jean, Veronica and Sandra; her daughter-in-law Deb Rippel; and her brothers, Edward, Jr. and Clyde.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Rich (Sam) of Rutland, IL, Jacqueline Hillenburg (Rippel), Richard Rippel (Rosemary) of Toluca, IL, Renee Holden (Rippel) of Glendale, AZ and Reynold Rippel of Minonk; and her brother Roy Thommen (Annalee) of Germantown Hills, IL. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wenona or for Mass.
