It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Johnson of Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Johnson and Melba Lou Johnson (Shores); and his brother Gary Shores. He is survived by: his significant other Charla Bailey of Rushville; his daughters, Misty Smith-Alward of Minier, Samantha Bailey of Rushville and Tamara VanHyning of Rushville; his grandchildren, Valessa, Gabe, Tiffany, Violet, Izayah, Alice and Ezequiel; and his siblings, Jerry Shores of Avon, Jim Johnson of Rushville, Millard "Billy" Johnson (Melba) of Rushville and Elizabeth "Jane Ann" Eaglen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
