He is survived by: his wife Donna Butler (Carrothers); his sons, Scott (Linda), Jeff (Mary) and Bryan (Linda); his grandchildren, Brad, Keith Butler, Emily, Mitchell Hynek, Ellen Butler, Ben, Annie Butler, Sarah, Chris Schinckel, Laura and Josh Borchert; and his great grandchildren, Libby, Jack, Liz, Grant, Logan, Rae Lyn and Mary Kate.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Arcola, Illinois or the First Christian Church of Rushville, Illinois.
