Frances Briney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Briney of Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Launer and Alma Launer (Carls); her brother Donald Launer; and her stepmother Fairy Launer. She is survived by: her husband Homer Briney; her sister Joyce Lang (Duane) of O'Fallon; her children, Tim Briney (Stephanie) of Frederick, Pam Watson (Fred) of Wilmette, Jan Nocita (Mike) of Arlington Heights and Tony Briney (Amy) of Newton, Massachusetts.; her grandchildren, Courtney Ahlers (Jeff), Andrew Watson (Maria), Tyler Nocita (Hannah), Zach Watson, Megan Nocita, Jordan Briney, Jack Briney and Nick Nocita; and her great grandchild Isabelle Ahlers. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Colwell Memorial (515 S State St, Beardstown, IL 62618). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (301 W 4th St, Beardstown, IL 62618).
