Bobby Rhoades Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Rhoades Sr. of Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rhoades and Erma Edwards Rhoades; his former wife Sharon Lael Spears; his son Todd Rhoades; his siblings, Lester Rhoades, Ray Rhoades, Virginia Bushnell, Maxine Davis and Betty Harn; his great grandchild Madeline Rhoades; and his brother Richard Rhoades.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Rhoades Jr. (Cathy) of Meredosia, Rob Rhoades of Rushville and Elana Rhoades of Rushville; his sister Joyce Rhoades of Florida; and his fiancé Sandy Martin. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Beardstown (202 E 8th St, Beardstown, IL 62618). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Mcdonough District Hospital Hospice (MDH Hospice).
