He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Runkle and Rosemary Runkle (Gibbons); his stepfather Wendell Surratt; and his brother Jimmie Runkle. He is survived by: his brother Bobby-Lee Runkle; his aunt Marilyn Ervin (John); and his cousin George Runkle.
