It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Starwalt of Rural, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Leon and Ada Mae Beals (Brown); her grandson Jeremy Starwalt; her sister Hazel Dallas; her brothers-in-law, Mirl "Tuffy" Dallas and Don Walk; and her great grandchildren, Brandon William, Paisley Marie and Keely Gale.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Starwalt of Mattoon, Illinois; her children, Steve Starwalt (Joy) of Westfield, Karl Starwalt (Vicky) of Trilla, Illinois and Gale Cook (Rod) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and her siblings, Don Beals (Pat) of Neoga, Wilbert Beals (Bonnie) of Lerna, Illinois, Ida Mae Groves (Don) of Mattoon and Joy Walk of Loogootee, Illinois. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
