He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Jones and Cleta Jones (Hawkey). He is survived by: his granddaughters, Annaliyah Jones and Julyssa Steen; his daughter Kelsey Maren; his brother Jerold Dean; his parents, Lewis Earl Jones and Carol Ann Jones (Wilson); his stepdaughter Merrick Lindsay Nolan; and his uncles, Edward Jones (Patricia), Clifford Jones and James Aaron Jones.

With his huge heart Paul was always thinking of others as he made monthly donations to St. Jude's Hospital, ASPCA, and the Shriners.
