It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebekah L. Roethe of Royalton, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rebekah departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rebekah may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rebekah leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Klohr and Susan Klohr (Preston); her husband Larry Raymond Roethe of John's Lutheran Church; and her siblings, David Klohr and Karen Kribs.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry Klohr of Colorado, Ronald Klohr of Tennessee and Linda Klohr. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pyatt Funeral Home - Pinckneyville (309 S Main St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Pinckneyville, IL.
