He is survived by: his wife Heather Young of Royalton; his stepchildren, Amanda Kelso (John) of Benton, Aaron Simmons of Carbondale and Maria Simmons of Marion; his grandchildren, KC Kelso, CJ Kelso, JD Kelso and Maliah Adrian; his brother Rodney Young of Benton; and his nephew Randy Burgess of Elkville.
