With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Corse of Royalton, Illinois, born in Zeigler, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amuel "Molly" and Isabel Vaughn (Hampton); her former spouse Jan Smith; and her husband Bill Corse. She is survived by: her children, Jana Ronan (John) of Gainesville, Tom Smith (Cristie) of Du Quoin and Amanda Ingram (Shawn) of Christopher; her stepson Brett Corse of Hurst; and her grandchildren, Erin Smith of St. Louis, Jana Waters (Lucas) of Benton, Curtis Pfeiffer (Adriane) of Du Quoin, Daniel Ronan and Elizabeth Ronan of Gainesville. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
