With solemn reverence, we commemorate Helen Wood of Royalton, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 17, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Oscar and Ann Richter (Barclay); her siblings, Leroy Richter and Dorothy Mize; her daughter-in-law Dorina Wood; and her granddaughter Brittany Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Sandefur (Diane), Bill McFarland (Marla), Carl McFarland (Teri), Les Wood (Brenda) and Carol Matiskie (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Alan, Christine, Emily, Ashley, Cody, Helena, Carly and Dystany. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miners Cemetery (E 2nd St N, Royalton, IL 62983).
