It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern Eunice Kalis of Royalton, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Perruquet and Hazel Perruquet (Donaldson); her grandson Tyler Stephens; and her brothers, Frankie Myers, Larry and Joe Perruquet.
She is survived by: her children, Cecelia Perruquet (Rudy Bramlett) of Zeigler, Dawn Mathis of Zeigler, Charlie McCay (Clarence) of Royalton and David Brown of Marion; her grandchildren, Danielle Kalis, Brandi Duering, John Duering Jr., Seth Mathis, Veronica Stephens, Brianna Becker, Angelica Scholp, Cora-Ann Kellum, Jaeden Granfeldt, Savanna Brown, Landon Brown and Nolen Brown; and her siblings, Ernie Perruquet Jr., Estella Dawson, Ila Couch, Donnie Perruquet and James Perruquet. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the SIX Mile Township Hall (27 Circle, Zeigler, IL 62999).
