Adam Capogreco Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adam Capogreco of Royalton, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenick Leonardo and Carmela "Nelly" Capogreco (Martell); and his brothers, Joe Capogreco and Orlando Capogreco. He is survived by: his wife Lois Capogreco of Royalton; his son Lenny; his daughter-in-law Paula Capogreco of Elkville; his daughter Deanna; his son-in-law Patrick Smillie of West Frankfort; his grandchildren, Lynde Capogreco (John Patrick Cloar) of Clarksville, TN, Jerrad Capogreco (Ashley) of Herrin and Khole Smillie (Sara) of Mulkeytown; his great grandchildren, Owen River Capogreco, Ethan Drake Capogreco, Ava Gabriella Capogreco, Emma Renee Capogreco and Averi Lynn Smillie; and his brother Eddie Capogreco of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and the signing of executive order by the Governor of the State of Illinois, if you are planning on attending the service and/or visitation, facial masks are REQUIRED and customarily accepted social distancing guidelines is encouraged.
