With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald McVey of Roxana, Illinois, born in Wood River, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Allen McVey. He is survived by: his brothers, Allen Jr. McVey, Bobby Lee McVey, Herbert Leon McVey and Carl Dean McVey; his children, Kent (Laura McVey), Lisa (Dale Johnson), Mark (Darla McVey) and Dana McVey of Cornelius, NC; his grandchildren, Brenda Martin, Chessie Martinez, Joanna Malm, Matthew Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Laura Johnson, Mark Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Bethany Johnson, Christina Johnson, Kyle McVey, Jason McVey, Emily Taylor, Kate Plummer and Marissa McVey-Plummer; and his great grandchildren, Timothy, Madyline, Breydon, Michael, Parker, Albert, Ginger, Charles, Eric, Zoe, Hayley, Daniel, David, Adelynn, Adalyn, Thomas and Arianna. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mississippi Valley Christian School.
