With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert L. Welch of Round Lake, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell and Virginia; his wife Sharon Welch; his daughter Rhonda Welch Muehlfelder; his brother Raymond; and his son-in-law Randy Talbert.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" Welch Jr. (Patty), Rennae Talbert (late Randy), Ryan Welch (Terrilyn) and Randy Welch (JerriLynn); his son-in-law Dan Muehlfelder (Kristin); his grandchildren, Josh Talbert (Margie), Katie Hocin (Jason), Jake Welch, Kayla Shannon (Zach), Preston Muehlfelder (Lizzie), Cody Welch and Taylor Muehlfelder; his great grandchildren, Emma, Weston, Jameson, Jaxon, Peyton, Jennings (JR) and Ava; and his siblings, Ron Welch, Rick Welch (Ann) and Patti Jahneke.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
