She was predeceased by: her parent Ester Elina Kauppila (Torikainen); her husband Harold Eggen; her father Leo Kauppila; her brother Touko Leo Kauppila; her sister-in-law Maija Lisa Kauppila; and her nephew Timo Kauppila. She is also survived by son, daughter, and their children.
