She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie M. and Cecil A. Shipman, Sr.; her husband Marion Lewis; her brother Carl; and her siblings-in-law, Vernon and Jeannie.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Marshall, Melanie (Jeff Simonsen) and Michelle (Arthur Kempf); her grandchildren, Lisa (Sean Laffey), Mitchell, Carolyn (Gabriel Kuttler), Brian, Rachel (Rudy Castaneda) and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Emilee, Caden, Ethan, Dillan and James; her siblings, Cecil A. Shipman, Jr. (Iola), Clifford Shipman, Henry Shipman (Sonja), Shirley Gorrell (Paul) and Carolyn Read; and her sister-in-law Janet Shipman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for the Alzheimer's Foundation.
