She was predeceased by: her mother Clemencia Marquez; and her brother Francisco J. Marquez. She is survived by: her father Francisco Marquez; her husband Luis M. Tovar; her children, Samantha Mancilla and Edson Salazar of Waukegan, IL; her grandchildren, Adrian Mancilla and Liliana Mancilla; and her siblings, Oscar Marquez of Bristol, WI, Ismael Marquez of Mexico, Guadalupe Estrada and Josephine Marquez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (114 Lincoln Ave, Round Lake, IL 60073).
