He is survived by: his wife Merileen Wakeley; his children, Scott, Sarah (Ben Palmberg), Julie (Keith Peterson) and Erin (Ramon Rodriguez); his granddaughters, Abigail (Will Addy) and Sophia Thorson; his children, Lars, Kajsa, Maren Palmberg, Tessa, Calla, Andrew, Annika Peterson, Lucia, Clara, David and Noa Rodriguez; his great grandchild Ellis Addy; and his brothers, Paul and Steve. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Libertyville Covenant Church (250 N St Marys Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
