He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Edward and Pauline Samec Sr. (Rakyta); his brother John Joseph Samec; and his nephew Christopher Wigger. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his daughters, Regina Mitchell and Rhonda Mitchell; his grandchildren, Angelica, Daniel, Triston, Xavier, Ethan, Joseph and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Noah, Olivia and Armando; his sister Martha Masters; his niece Beth Gill; and his godson Justin Knoll.
