He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chambers and Evelyn Chambers; and his brothers, Jimmy, Larry and Bruce Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Chambers; his children, Tammy Chambers, Jenny Wake and Michael Chambers; his stepson Patrick Gossett; his siblings, Charles Chambers (Connie), Rita Day (Homer), Tina Morgan (Rex) and Rick Chambers (Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Brenda and Barb Chambers. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his devoted canine companion.
In accordance with the Illinois guidelines, a 50 person capacity will be followed, face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be held privately by the family at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with full military honors held under the auspices of the United States Army and the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Memorial Squad.
