He is survived by: his wife Merialice; his children, Jimmy Swanson of Hawaii, Carla Swanson of Washington, Sarah Swanson of Illinois and Matthew Swanson of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Lana Swanson (Alison) of North Carolina, Cory Swanson of Washington, Kayla Kowalski of Illinois, Amanda Swanson of Ohio, Megan Bijelic (Mikal), Cecily Sims (Seth) of Illinois, Shania Kowalski of Illinois and Makanzi Kowalski of Illinois. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
