He was predeceased by: his parents, Casmir Wicinski and Catherine Wicinski; his wife Patricia Wicinski (McCann); his granddaughters, Mallori Papp and Olivia Thormo; his siblings, Robert Wicinski, Norbert Wicinski, Tom Wicinski and Carol Hertel (Alfred); and his brother-in-law Joseph McCann.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Frederichs (Larry), Jeffrey Wicinski, Jerry Wicinski (Vickie), Mary Pat Vepley (Tommy) and Maureen Papp (Mike); his grandchildren, Joshua Wicinski (Charo), Natosha Thormo (Rob), Vanessa Degand, Kraig Wicinski (Alexandria), Michael Wicinski (Sherry), Joey Wicinski, Christopher Wicinski, Geremi Wicinski (Shannon), Jessica Mahoney (Jerry), Kurtis Vepley (Haley) and Meagan Ratajczyk; his great grandchildren, Czara, Chay Wicinski, Jason, Kyle, Raelyn Thormo, Annabelle, Kollins, Karson Wicinski, Emma, Grace Wicinski, Brady, Jordan Wicinski, Landin Palmer, Zoey Cockrell, Rowen Vepley and Eric Royal III; his siblings, Joan Walker (Connie), Danny Wicinski, Dolores Hagan and Martin Wicinski; and his in-laws, Kathleen Swieton (Robert), Larry McCann, Suzanne Wicinski and Alfred Hertel. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren along with his other family and close friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
