He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hintz and Anita Hintz; and his sister Carol Hintz. He is survived by: his fiancée Kathleen Shaver; his children, Laura Maksymiak and Jason Hintz (Kim); his grandchildren, Caitlyn McClure (Ben), Jenna Menke (Ethan), Alivia Hintz and Gabe Hintz; and his great grandchildren, Leo, Ella, Charlotte, Nolan, Jack, Hadley and Karen Altmann of Murfreesboro, TN.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in memory of his late sister, Carol.
