He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Winifred. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Robinson; his daughters, Angela Henert (Shaine), Amanda Brueggeman (Rick) and Heather Pecha (Adam); his grandchildren, Vanessa Gonzales, Brandon Gonzales, Hannah Pecha, Hallie Pecha, Grace Henert and Justus "Gus" Henert; his siblings, Robert Nicholls (Sally), Ken Nicholls (Kathy), Barbara Hilgenberg (Jim) and Donna Nicholls-Dushny (Rich); and also Colby Brueggeman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
