She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lewis and Louise Lewis (Dethloff); and her sister Judy. She is survived by: her husband James "Larry" Thomas; her children, William Thomas (Aly) and Heather Bennett (Brian); her grandchildren, Courtney Sojer (John), Alyssa, Mackenzie, Takoa Thomas, Emma and Megan Bennett; her great grandchildren, Riley and Reagan; and her siblings, Donna Parton (Chaz Walker), Larry (Linda), John, Jerry (Beverly) and Mark Lewis.
