He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burk and Sally Burk; his wife Peggy; and his brothers, Floyd, Cletus, Ethol and Otis Burk.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Burk, Michelle Burk and Rebecca Deibert (Donald); his grandchildren, Christopher Burk, Zachary Burk, Kaitlyn Deibert and Brianna Deibert; and his siblings, Zola Brewster, Geneva Koger and Arlie Burk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
