She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Smoody, Thomas Smoody (Diane), William Smoody (Ruth) and John Smoody (Ana); her grandchildren, Kathryn Townsend, Jaime Smoody, Adani Smoody, Theresa Smoody, Mathew Smoody, Elizsabeth McGann (Sean) and Michael Smoody; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Clare and Graham.
