George T. Simpson Obituary
George Thurman Simpson, age 55, of Round Lake Beach passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 27, 2022. He was born on December 25, 1966, in Chicago, IL to James Simpson and Winifred Gibson. George met the love of his life Angela Leader on September 7, 1996, they were married at the beach house in McCullom Lake, IL and they have been happily married for 25 years and a family member by the name of Jack Martin, Jr. preformed the wedding ceremony.
George liked softball so much he became the coach of a team called Sinner and Saints, he was very artistic, and he was often told he made plumbing look like a form of art. He loved to talk about God and read his bible, watch Christian movies, or listen to music, and is probably why he loved his garden with all the flowers and birds. In his spare time, he liked playing cards, being with friends and family creating memories to last a lifetime. George loved all animals, but he was very fond of his 3 labs: Aubrey Kai, Gunner, and Willow his fur babies.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend: Angela; son: Montana; daughters: Cheyenne and Wynter; siblings: Ada (Dave), Susan, Elizabeth (Dan), Mary, Donna, John, Harold (Glenda) and Ann.
George is preceded by parents: James and Winifred; brother: Pete; sister-in -law: Sheri Leader; father- in- law: James Leader.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11-3 pm at the McCullom Lake Village Hall, 4811 W. Orchard Drive, McCullom Lake, IL.
