He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Jones and Mable Jones (Hopper); his son Charles C. Jones; and his grandsons, Andrew and Jarett Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel E. Still (Jeff) of Neoga, IL, Sarah K. Knierim (Seth) of Colorado Springs, CO, Gregory D. Jones (Kathy) of St. Louis, MO, Bradley L. Jones (Melissa) of Fishers, IN and Jason L. Jones (Kris) of Bondurant, IA; and his daughter-in-law Brook Jones of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
