He was predeceased by: his stepson James Deon; his son Denny; his granddaughter Lora Dunstan; and his siblings, Rad, Winfred, Jesse, Ray Barnard, Verdna Austin, Irene Kaegi and Opal Frailey.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Weldon and Dennis Keith; his wife Norma Jean Holbrook; his son Larry (Carole); his daughters-in-law, Janet Barnard and Becky Barnard; his grandchildren, Travis Vaughn, Dana Robinson (Jeff), Gina Shaffer, Quentin Barnard (Samantha), Holly McDaniel, Samantha Winters (Jeff) and Jade Crowell (Mark); and his sister Laura Switzer (Bill). He is also survived by 14 great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the First Christian Church of Cave In Rock or the Cave Hill Cemetery.
