He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Cowsert; his parents, Daniel Cowsert and Meredith Cowsert; and his siblings, Noel, Bruce, Deward Cowsert and Artene Herrin.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dutton (Tommy) of Paducah, KY, Wesley Cowsert (Jill) of Cave-In and Sheila Wallace (Tim) of Mt. Vernon, IA; his siblings, Glenn Cowsert, Creda Hubbard, Bernice Horton and Dema Flynn; and his grandchildren, Adrian Riley, Tanner Dutton, Colten Cowsert, Conrad Cowsert, Olivia Matthews, Chelsea Wallace and Kayla Wallace. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
