He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Adkisson and Opal Adkisson of Mount Ayr, IA.; his siblings, Richard, Robert Adkisson, Wanita Seville and Alice Young; and his sons, Todd Adkisson and Ricky Adkisson.
He is survived by: his son Rolland Jr. Rolland (Nascar); his wife Melba Adkisson of Kirkwood, IL; his sister Charlene "Chuck" Chubick of Tucson, AZ; and his children, Steve Adkisson of Monmouth, IL, Josh (Jackie Taylor), Jason (Kathy Taylor), Troy Adkisson of Kirkwood, IL, Tina (Dusty Best), Robin (Donny Hawkins), Sheryl Chaco of Saginaw, TX and Meghan Taylor (Chicago). He is also survived by his 31 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Moore Memorial (230 W Penn Ave, Roseville, IL 61473). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wise Family - Hoover Hall Funeral Home (230 W Penn Ave, Roseville, IL 61473).
As a faithful donor to St. Jude, the family is asking for donations to be made in Rolland's memory to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or Rozetta Baptist Church.
