She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross C. Lefler and Ellen V. Lefler (Williams); and her husband Dwayne Wicks. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Oberly of Eldridge, IA, Gary Wicks of Rio, Ronald Wicks of Galesburg, Dale Wicks of Mississippi, Lola Mackey of Monmouth and Earl Wicks of Oquawka; and her siblings, Jerry Dale, Ona Mae and Aileen. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
